FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What does your company do, in plain language?

We train dogs to fit their owners’ lifestyles. Having a dog should be an enjoyable experience, and our goal is to help people confidently enjoy their dogs wherever life takes them.

Who do you primarily serve or work with?

Our ideal client is someone who’s willing to invest the time and resources needed to build a better relationship with their dog. Training works best when the owner is committed to maintaining what the dog learns.

What problem do you help solve for your clients or customers?

We identify what’s causing the behaviors that concern the owner and address the problem at its source. For example, if a dog constantly pulls on the leash, we don’t just correct the pulling. We teach the dog that staying engaged with its owner is more rewarding.

What makes your company different from others offering similar services or products?

We’re a small, family-operated business with more than 20 years of dog-training experience. We’ve worked with dogs ranging from police K9s to small toy poodles. We also operate from a 38-acre farm, which gives dogs room to train around real distractions that aren’t available in a standard training facility. They have opportunities to run, explore, and develop a reliable off-leash recall in a safe, controlled environment.

What types of services, products, or solutions do you offer most often?

Our primary services and products include: Board-and-train programs Private training sessions Dog-training equipment

How do clients typically work with you?

Most clients first contact us by phone or through the website. When someone submits a form, we follow up with a phone call to understand what they’re experiencing and what they want to accomplish. From there, we may recommend a suitable program or invite them to our farm for a free evaluation. During the evaluation, we meet the dog, assess its behavior, and develop a training plan based on the dog’s needs and the owner’s goals.

What industries, niches, or situations are you best suited for?

We primarily work with pet-dog owners who want a better, more enjoyable relationship with their dogs.

Where are you located, and how broadly do you serve clients?

We’re located on a 38-acre farm in Four Oaks, North Carolina, in Johnston County. We’re approximately 30 minutes from Raleigh and primarily serve clients throughout the greater Raleigh area. We also work with dog owners from Clayton, Fayetteville, Smithfield, Selma, Garner, and communities throughout Wake and Johnston counties.

What should a potential client know before reaching out?

We believe in being honest and transparent with every client. We’ll give you a straightforward assessment of your dog and recommend the program your dog actually needs - not simply the most expensive option. Every dog has different abilities, limitations, and genetic potential. We’ll explain what training can realistically accomplish so you can make an informed decision.

How do people usually get started with you?

Most clients get started by scheduling a free evaluation at our farm. This allows us to meet the dog, discuss the owner’s concerns, and recommend the most appropriate training plan.

Is there anything else others should know about you or your company?

We don’t use a one-size-fits-all training system. We train the dog in front of us and work closely with the owner to create a relationship they can both enjoy. We use a balanced approach to dog training and believe dogs learn best when expectations are clear and they fully understand the task being asked of them.

What are you not?

We’re not a dog rescue or rehoming facility. We also don’t accept aggressive pet dogs with the intention of turning them into police dogs. Police K9s are specifically bred and selected for that work, and their training begins early in life. An aggressive pet dog is not automatically suited for police service.
