You have something new to announce, so a press release feels like the official next step. But a press release is only useful when there's actual news, someone outside the company has a reason to care, and you know how the right people might see it.<\/p>\n\n\n
If those pieces aren't there, you should consider a customer email, event listing, direct pitch, or simple blog update instead, because those formats reach the people who already have a reason to care without pretending an internal announcement is public news.<\/p>
