A course is worth paying for when that outcome matters to you, the teaching and support can plausibly get you there, and the complete cost makes sense compared with other ways to learn.<\/p>

Define the outcome in observable terms<\/h2>\n\n\n

"Learn marketing" is not an outcome. Completing a campaign plan, passing a recognized exam, building a portfolio project, or qualifying for a specific job requirement is clearer.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ask whether you need knowledge, feedback, supervised practice, a credential, access to equipment, or a professional network. A video library may deliver information without providing the other things.<\/p>\n\n\n

Calculate the complete commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n

Add tuition, subscriptions, exams, books, software, equipment, travel, financing, and required upsells. Estimate realistic weekly hours and the deadline for completion.<\/p>\n\n\n

Ask whether access expires and whether downloads, updates, community access, grading, or certificates require ongoing payment. A cheap course becomes expensive when the useful portion is behind the next purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n
